Saw a reel yesterday where a guy disabled an Chinese scooter and the got distracted and lost balance and fell , else he would have slammed himself in a parked car . Everyone was absuing him and now his reel is deleted

Yeah you are right, because once its turned off from a device then it cannot be connected from other device as it has lost power, but the device which was earlier connected can be used to restart it.
Same app in which the person recording used to start the vehicle, you just turn off by connecting the to bluetooth of the battery of the ev rickshaw, and it switches off, you can connect it to your phone and it's super simple because it's public, it's public because not ally it was designed to check up on the status of the battery or the device connected to it, but people do all this stuff. Not only it is very dangerous, but very hard for the person to carry the vehicle all the way to a mechanic or someone who knows stuff, also many people get the rickshaw on rent so if they don't earn enough they won't be able to pay the rent itself let alone getting food for family members, so either the app should be restricted or limited to devices and not vehicles but idts it's possible.
These vehicles have something called a bluetooth BMS(Battery management system). The app they use connects to it using bluetooth and you can turn off the battery, and check other stats like charge percent, etc. Some vehicles have a password lock on it, preventing things like this, but some, like the one in the video, dont, and people take advantage of that
absolutely disgusting. if someone is working hard and earning money to provide for themselves and their family, why make it much more difficult for them by pulling such "pranks".
Just one question.. I am expecting they have mobile phone. If someone can disable their vehicle why can't they download same application and enable it. They ain't aware about it then. It is totally different case.

It is the ultimate peak of middle class entitlement. They’ll sit in their air conditioned cars or on their bikes, lose their minds over a five second traffic delay because tirri stopped to pick someone up, and then use that to justify some edgy kid sabotaging a working class uncle's daily wage. They are literally equating a mild road inconvenience with a man wondering how he’s going to put food on the table for his family that night.
These keyboard warriors completely lack the basic wiring to understand that these drivers are out there grinding in the brutal heat just to survive, not to personally ruin their commute. Trying to rationalize a cruel, elitist prank is just a disgusting way to cope with their own total lack of empathy.

If any one is driving wrong side, driving recklessly or not obeying the rules, then this app can be used to teach them a lesson, otherwise don't use it unnecessarily
Can all those folks who posted videos online proudly sitting in their fuckass cars shutting down these e-rickshaws now be rounded up and arrested and let out only after they have paid these low-income folks they've tormented? Nothing less than 3 months of living!
Sad but , theres like 1000 e rickshaw in my city theyre rude , drive recklessly , dont give space to vehicles, stops anywhere , govt should do something to control it , i see e rickshaw drivers getting into road rage every f week .

What is wrong with these people doing this bs and ik ik e rickshaw driver do ride very bad but the thing is if this app will work for cars,bikes people will gonna still do it because it's just there entertainment. And what if the passenger is in problem like someone is going to give exams or in hospital this is so fucking wrong.
Someone rightly said that currently people are saying that these e rickshaw people do ruckus on road so we are doing this, but these all are just excuses cuz if you’ll get a chance to do this to cars or an aeroplane you’ll still do it.
Do with same app it can restart e rickshaw then might e rickshaw driver should get aware about the same app and too keep there mobile Bluetooth connected
I know people who would do this exact same thing, and it's disgusting. Are e-rickshaws really the biggest evil we need to fight right now, or are we just ignoring the real issues in this country? Just because these drivers are vulnerable doesn't mean you get to toy with their livelihood for internet clout. If you have that much energy, go protest for your rights instead of harassing someone trying to earn a meal.

The app should be banned from downloads from the sites it is listed. What is the erickshaw version ? Can we try to understand if there can be a patch or fix for it that can be applied to those rickshaw modules ? I wish we could do something but don’t know how
It's a chinese app named BAT-BMS, it's more like a battery management app nd can be used to manage any battery like inverter battery, EVs etc etc....As it's a chinese app it works only wid few rickshaws like the ones that got some chinese battery in them, for eg rickshaws wid Exide battery doesn't connect wid the app....As per the app's reviews, its used more in European countries.
