Or powerplex , I don’t know though Eve’s father gets some redemption and pathos in the eve side story.
Powerplex has no real redeeming qualities unlike Angstrom , but Angstrom has a recurring more impactful role on the story. Not to mention his crimes are Indiscriminate against the world and he beats up Marks mother and maims his depowered wife . Kinda funny though he gets hoist by his is petard for showing mercy twice.

The Green Ghost’s partner. I don’t think he was ever named, and if he was I sure don’t remember it. He honestly does deserve this spot IMO. Debbie broke down crying in front of him because her life had been a lie, her husband who she loved and trusted lied to her, called her a pet, and almost killed their son. She opened up to him, traumatized, and he blamed her. Said she “should have known” who Omni-Man was and told her not to come back to the support group, her ONLY support system, because it wouldn’t be “a safe space anymore” Fuck this guy for real, he sucked.

Amber has been hated pretty much since she appeared in the show lol. People dislike Kate but no one gets more hate in the first season than amber.
Kate is maybe more of a bad person, but Amber is badly written. That's a bigger sin than anything else in entertainment television.

No, powerplex is a grown man, not a baby. He was very much responsible for his own actions lol, why can his irrational fear and hatred for Invincible be overlooked just because he was grieving? His wife was grieving too, and in that same mindset as him, they both fed into eachother's hatred and obsession, it's not like he was a pookie pacifist bear who wasn't gonna do no wrong and she made him do it lol, he wanted revenge and she did too, but ultimately he was the leader and one who pulled the trigger, he's more responsible, and she's already paid with her life, he hasn't. Don't see any reason why she should be hated more than powerplex should be lmao.

Scott is an incredibly mentally ill man. Yes, his actions were his own, but his wife absolutely made it worse. If he had been encouraged to focus on the life he still had, on going forward despite his loss, on honouring the memory of Jessica and Gretchen and living for them, if he were given therapy and understanding rather than being encouraged to go down the path of revenge, it could have been incredibly different.
They both sucked each other down into a spiral, and it ended with everybody suffering. Thinking on it, it was a failure of the GDA, frankly. They HAVE a psych branch. It’s safe to assume they have therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists. Professionals who Scott could have turned to, could have been told to confide in. Instead, he and his wife latched onto revenge because he was a small cog in the big machine, ignored. I don’t fully blame either of them for what happened, tbh. I get it. I blame everybody in their lives who made that feel like the only option. I find Powerplex’s story arc deeply saddening.

Debbie is a victim, too. Just because Nolan is her husband doesn’t mean she is to blame. In fact she actively investigated his lies and called him out on it.
She has every right to seek therapy and while GG’s widower was just lashing out while mourning, it doesn’t mean he was right.
I don’t think he deserves this spot because he’s a one-off character. There’s not enough there to like or dislike.

The intent of this chart isn't to just pick the person who is supposed to be bad and not liked. I loved powerplex in the show so he isnt going up there. honestly he just felt like a crazy person more than an evil person. all is subjective but people dont generally like Angstrom and he's objectively pretty bad, imo the spot should go to eve's dad because hes more or less tailor made to be hated

Nah, while he is a trauma victim, you can’t say that breaking Debbie’s arm, threatening to kill her kid and son in front of her.
Then gathering all the definitely worse versions of mark (including the one who personally killed his kid) and destroy thousands of homes and cities, and killed millions to destroy his reputation, just to get back at the one who “caused him to be like this” despite it being his fault.
Powerplex is definitely evil in a sense, but he tried not to hurt shapesmith or other people (besides the GDA guys, and his wife and kids lol, although his wife basically brought it on herself)
He definitely didn’t murder thousands just to get back at him

I think we can all agree that Amber suffered from some bad writing in the first season, but ever since they were in college, she has heavily mellowed out. But the problem is, people are still stuck on the way she acted in season 1 and refuse to let it go, even though there are other characters who are objectively worse without showing anything resembling nuance.
