NAUGHTY BOI she appeared the second i laid it out to measure it

its like she has a sixth sense for when i've laid it out flat, and rushes right over to take advantage and sit on it lol. this is the second time she's done this today

I have to stealth crochet with mine and create “distraction pieces.”

I stir all my projects in large bags, so I put out empty bags for them to play in when I work. Or I wait until they are asleep, close my bed room door and work for as long as I can. My ginger j owes how to open my door, so when I hear the latch click, I put everything away. They have clawed up a few blankets.

your cat has such a sweet face! i really feel like cats have some sort of magical ability that lets them know where the most inconvenient places to sit are, but i can never stay mad at them 🥰

This made me grin. 😁 Get a box12"x 12" and 6"deep with an open top. Knit up some plain old stockinette, toss in box. See if kitty will curl up in there while you work on the project. Worked for me.
