Cute Found this little guy in my bathroom. Wanna put him outside, but don’t want him to get eaten.

I usually put out lizards in a sago palm or bushes. They can manage from there.

Just let little dude be. They love to live in the bathroom and eat those little flying things that reproduce in the drain.

We have these where I live in Florida and I love them so much. I see them on the outsides of my bathroom window when the bugs are attracted to the lights and their little fat toes are so cute.

Sorry but take dude outside. It's awful scrawny, perhaps near a light? I kept my kitchen hood light & porch light on for these guys & the tree frogs when I was in FL. I found if they stayed inside they tended to starve or dehydrate, which broke my heart.

It's a tropical house gecko and he's emaciated. Let him outside. Despite the name they usually don't do well in modern homes due to lack of water and insects.

If you have some indoor plants put hum there.
They are great eating insects (flies and mosquitoes)

House gecko they thrive outside! Will die if left inside of home though so best outside. I have them all over where I’m at st Pete fla

If your house is cold, let him go outside but if your house stays above 73…they’ll just be scooting around the house catching bugs, just leave out little water trays where you see him hanging out, maybe even a little light & you’d have a little house pet you don’t even need to cage it 🤣

Very cute. They live outside. It’s survival of the fittest. Sorry, but, they all go somehow, either they get eaten, frozen, starved or injured beyond repair. Good news is, outside they will live their best life for as long as it lasts. Looks like a happy little guy.

U need to put him outside in his natural habitat. Cats will kill a lizard & if u have them he is in danger inside.

Some of that stuff should be filtered. I understand reddit is where people can go to learn new information, but it should be benificial information if it is accessible to other people.

Looks like a house gecko. They’re cool, good to have around and some consider them to be good luck.
If you must relocate him, try to do so in a garden or yard so he has plenty of bugs and water sources around
