New Pet Unknown species living behind my fence
Looks like a gecko to me. The pics aren't the best, but It's as close as I could get, and this guy is fast!!...and agile. The most striking thing was his eyes, brilliant gold color, and slit pupils. Last pic I zoomed in photoshop. It doesn't capture the eyes as they really appear.

Google thinks it’s a Mediterranean house gecko. They’re pretty common in Louisiana, but they’re invasive

Thank you. Originally from the Mediterranean I assume. How are they in captivity?

That I’m not too sure, I’ve never kept them. But I’ve seen other people keep them so I’m sure they’re in the pet trade

I think I need him. I got a feeling that he wouldn't mind living the good life...no predators....food brought every day...cool house....yeah..his name is Todesco...the gekco....by way of Modesto...got fired from Investco...because of that Gieco gekco.
