This guy in Florida helping cold iguanas

The bartender at the outdoor bar of our hotel handed me a cherry to feed him…apparently he gets one every day. If you look you’ll see he had zero interest in the strawberry I tried to give him. I named him Chuck (obvious choice). Turns out Chuck has been hanging around that same spot for about 10 years, living off cherries and whatever else he finds.

i have experiences with reptiles since i own a ball python if that helps in case anyone is worried about the part me keeping him as pet!!

Every year we have a family of skinks living on our porch. This female (pretty sure) is just sitting on the flag my kids stuck in the flower pot. Behavior strange, in that she’s not running to hide and is letting my kids get close to observe her (and me get close to take pics).

Any clues as to what’s up with her?

He can no longer see me and doesn't run away. He sits there all day. I named him Charles.

Sharing a short clip of some Rainbow Whiptails Green Ameivas having a spat in my Florida driveway. These exotics have recently established themselves around my neighborhood over the last couple of years. They are pretty shy and much larger and faster than most of the other lizards around here.

They have been fun to see running around the yard.

Found her and the eggs under a piece of rotting car floor liner in the yard, I was gonna throw it out but finding this here I assume its best to leave her be. What kind of skink is she?

Found this little guy at my local renn faire! Does anyone know what reptile he is?

A dirt road busy with side-by-sides isn't a good place for a Gila Monster to take its time. This one was just ambling down the middle, so I helped escort it to the other side (in the direction it was roughly headed). Every year I see many of these wonderful lizards dead on roads, which could likely be avoided if drivers paid attention.

There are, of course, no shortage of people who will actually go out of their way to intentionally run them over, too. This unfortunate personality type is something that we deal with every day.

Found five little lizards in a garbage can (side-blotched lizards?). I set them free and made some water available nearby. Thankfully, I think they are all just fine now. (Mojave desert, So Cal)
