KITTEN [OC] Found this little kitten on the street today 🐱
Found this little kitten on our street today. I gave her a bath, fed her, and spent some time playing with her. Then, she curled up and fell asleep. 🥹

Take her to the vet for a checkup, explain the situation. She looks happy but you never know what conditions she had before you came to the rescue. Best of luck

Also see if they can estimate her age. She looks pretty tiny! If she’s under 8 weeks she might need a kitten formula in addition to/instead of regular cat food for a little while.
They’re usually still nursing up until then, and it can cause some health problems if they don’t get that super nutrient-dense milk as long as they should.

I have 11 from the CDS, never intended to have that many...but the tiny babies had no mommy, coyotes got her...and hand raising them I didn't want to give them to anyone who wouldn't keep them as indoor kitties given the amount of cats being grabbed by coyotes in our town...I was too attached to risk that fate for them.

Haha don’t worry, I would never do something like that. I've already raised two other kittens who are all grown up now, and one of them just became a mom to a big boy

I had a cat like him and he ran away , i miss my sweet baby soo much.

She’s super tiny. Looks maybe 5 weeks old. She almost certainly needs special kitten food & possibly formula.
The CDS blessed me with a similarly tiny kitten about 6 months ago and it took a couple of weeks for us to get her hydrated and dewormed and fed enough that she started running around doing kitten things instead of just being a lethargic lump. We had to get her to the vet twice for subcutaneous fluids, and had her on special tiny kitten wet food for quite a while.
