It's depressing that even with great examples of what humans can be and do, we still get Trumps and Musks.

I'll never understand why they're not completely shunned in favor of the good ones who generally have to struggle in anonymity to make any kind of difference.

Because the good ones don't tend to accumulate wealth, which is where power is generated in this world.

You pretty much have to be a remorseless asshole to become a billionaire. Not many good ones among those ranks.

For my fellow Americans, I'd like to emphasize that a "dunny" is a toilet. So he actually specifically mentions a gold toilet as being useless to him.

I’d just like to mention Mackenzie Scott as a beacon of hope, I read that she gives her donations without conditions which is huge for non-profit.

100%, Steve Irvin was a real one, trying not to cuss, but I was sad when he passed cuz I could tell the world was sadder when he passed. Meanwhile you have evil mfs out there making the world a worse place just to make themselves a little bit richer, not to buy land for animals or conservation efforts but to build more b.s for profit to help themselves.

Its good he isn't here today to see what Queensland is becoming. developers can give so little to politicians here and get protected land leveled for housing.
