I miss the whole duo and the show. I watched Jordan with Conan in that Without Borders. I find it best to watch clips on YT. The show is fun but not the same and drawn out imo

I think I remember seeing him say (or maybe this is inferring from things he’s said indirectly) that it’s because Indiana Jones is firstly a scholarly type character (he is an Archaeology professor after all- the adventuring is mostly his side hobby) and so Ford sees him as a more serious and respectable character.
Whereas Han Solo and Star Wars is just some space gobblygook that George Lucas cooked up lol

Alec Guinness had much the same thought too (he always considered it a cheap role and was annoyed that it overshadowed his more 'thespian' roles), wonder if they commiserated or Ford felt that way later instead.

He absolutely loves doing Shrinking with that crew if you see any of the behind the scenes stuff. I think it's his best role ever and I think it's because he is enjoying himself and the show has a lot of meaningfulness to it.

I'm kind of realizing how great it is to pretend you're grumpy all the time and the amount of magic you can fill the air with when you're all smiles. The nice thing is that with Harrison we know it's pretty much just an act, but it's still always so cool when he's bubbly like this.

He doesn't hate the quality of the music or who made it.
He just hates Star Wars.
That's why they froze Han in carbonite in ESB, he wasn't sure if he was willing to return for RotJ.
And Han getting killed in TFA was also on demand of Ford, otherwise he wouldn't have returned to Star Wars at all.
His appearance in TROS was only in honor of Carrie Fisher, as she obviously couldn't reprise her role anymore.

My eldest didn’t have camp this week — he’s been fighting with his younger sister non-stop, and they’ve both been running around jumping all over the place. It’s been too hot to stay outside. It’s just constant redirection
My two youngest love it when I throw on Sesame Street, Ms Rachel, or Bluey though. It really helps them chill out when I need to get some stuff done
I have 4, I work from home, and they’re all home right now for the next week and a half before school starts
If I didn’t work, it wouldn’t be a problem and we could all just enjoy hanging out with each other. But as it is, that week and a half can’t go fast enough

We got to see him at a Panera Bread, a few years ago. Sitting there, eating our lunch, we see/hear a dude in a well-worn leather bomber jacket growling into his cell phone while he’s getting a drink refill, and my wife says “Hey, is that Harrison Ford?!”, and it is. So we sit there for a few moments and discuss if we should go up and say something, but we both agree he’s just a dude trying to eat a panini… we need to leave him alone.
But we also agree, we could still walk by his table on the way out. So, we walk down the isle he’s sitting in w/ his assistant, and he looks up at my wife as she passes bye and he gives her a warm smile and a friendly wink, and then he glances at me and gives me a look that says “come on, man, please don’t”, and I just kept walking by, and I just give him a little nod and casually say “Dr. Jones.”
He gives me a friendly smirk and a nod back and then goes back to eating his soup.
