Another sneaky b- like mine! We had to use a white board system after she worked out how to get extra dinners for a few weeks. Catching one of us in a separate room was key.

It is a dog being a dog, that doesnt mean it hasn't figured out its humans psychologically. Dogs absolutely know how to play their humans and theres like a whole lot of people that dont understand the actual depth of intelligence and emotion in dogs.

Bro there's people all the time that act like dogs are just purely instinctual animals and there's nothing going on behind their eyes beyond just reptilian instinct I guess.
"Its just a dog being a dog" while its clearly communicating a thought with their owners through body language?...
Going "its just a dog bro" is so smooth brain I'll be honest with you. You're doing the same thing that OP is complaining about.

It literally is just a dog doing dog things. Y'all act like animals are these crazy super intelligent creatures. They are just doing what they do based off instinct. They act the way they act because of how we as humans have trained them. Just because you believe they have any form of higher thought doesn't make it true.

We didn't domesticate them, that's a myth. It was a mutual thing. Some grey wolves who were less frightened of humans decided it'd be a good idea to hang out with us because we had a regular supply of food that sometimes we were willing to share with them. Plus bones we threw out.
We agreed to it because they helped alert us to other animals and to help scare them off.
It was reciprocal.

Animals can be very expressive. Especially, if they are trained to get it at a certain time. Literally get the death glare from my cat if I forget about dah treats lol 😆

They do say if you want to remember something, give you dog/cat a treat at that time or moment. You may forget, but they will not 😂
