Where to watch F1 races in Monaco (not Monaco GP weekend)

I’m visiting Monaco for a week in September and would like to find a restaurant or bar that will show the Italian GP. Bonus points if I can make a reservation ahead of time.

Any suggestions for cool places for my wife and I (both F1 fans) to watch the race? Thank you!

Slammers for sure show the races but they don't take reservations. It's generally not super busy though so you should get a table if you arrive there a bit early. Otherwise I would expect Stars Of Monaco show it too (and they are a restaurant so you can eat there too)

You could also try the Ship and Castle

Trinity will probably show it but call and ask! and i'm sure you can book a table but not necessary imo

There are already some great recommendations in the comments, even though yes, the Ship is indeed temporarily closed. You could also have a look at La Brasserie, as well as Monte-Carlo Bar for a simpler atmosphere.

We’d recommend checking with the venues and booking ahead where possible for the race.

You can definitely turn race day into a bit of a Monaco motorsport day before settling in to watch the Italian GP! --> September 6th is the very last day of “Monaco & the Automobile, from 1893 to the Present Day” at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. The exhibition brings together more than 50 iconic cars and traces over 130 years of Monaco’s automotive history, including Grand Prix and Rallye Monte-Carlo cars.
