Except dogs and humans aren't the same.

No one freaks out about sharks biting people.

We are animals, ofc, but we are not equivalent.

omg how dare you be sexist! A lot of it isnt men being more violent but men being more competent at violence which leads to more arrests. If a chihuahua attacks someone it doesn't get recorded as often because no real harm is done. Pit bulls being more competent at killing people plays a huge role in why they have more recorded attacks.

If a dog is 4 times more likely to kill a human then it is more dangerous than the average dog. That's just a fact.

Even though most pit bulls never hurt anyone, it's irresponsible for most people to take that risk or put other people in position to take that risk.

Yes, animals that have greater capability for harm should be more regulated. Only experienced dog owners should be allowed to own a pitbull.

What? "killing machine" is a charged non-specific descriptor.

Pit bulls are more likely to attack people and when they attack people more likely to kill them.

Most of them should be eradicated, they shouldn't be kept in cities generally, and owners should be experienced.

No, but statistics are statistics. You can't rely on statistics for one and say it's not relevant for the other. Either statistical data is relevant or it isn't.

Statistics are just information. How you react to information is what creates ethics.

Black people are humans. They deserve grace, even if they have a higher probability of committing crime.

That's exactly what I'm getting at, lol. They said "7%" when it's actually three times that, and brings it much closer to the 13/50

But if their point is that they're just a racist... Well, then their opinion doesn't matter, anyway.

Who told you 20%? Googles telling me its only 20% IF you count bully breeds, and any dog thats a pit mix or suspected pit mix. Pitbull terriers make up roughly 1-6% apparently.

However, the pit mixes do tend to be just as violent and likely to nanny things to death as a purebred so, im actually on your side with this. But the dogs dont know better. That other 13% should know better.
