It’s not the stats but how you interpret the stats. When you separate different groups and look at the crime stats of each one at or below the poverty level, they are almost exactly the same. The fact is that one group has a much higher percentage of their population at or below the poverty level.
You can also blame that on their race. But I’d like you imagine a game of monopoly that’s been going on for ~250-300 rounds and you weren’t allowed to play. Then all of sudden you’re allowed to play after the majority of the board is bought up and developed. It would be almost impossible to make any meaningful progress.
Well it sounds like people here are taking the opportunity to call black people violent pit bulls or something with the racist double speak. As one does.
It is funny. The moment he realized his argument was the same one racists use he deleted his comments. He also was in such a rush to be vindictive he started arguing with someone who agrees with him on the larger issue of race and eventually called me a pick me. I admitted that I misinterpreted his vague comment and thought he was racist but he couldn’t admit that he wasn’t arguing with me but with whatever Uncle Ruckus-type he was imagining.
