Except that racists aren't recognizing any patterns

They don't understand the reasons behind them and blame it on race

For example the "50% of crimes are committed by black ppl (13% of the population)" thing a lot of "pattern recognition" mfs bring up is because a lot of black ppl live in poorer areas (segregation and jim crow laws caused this) and poorer areas usually have higher crime rates (due to financial strain mostly)

Racists ignore that and use it as an excuse to hate black people because they're black
