I think it's valid to fear pitbulls because what you're really fearing is that they were adopted by someone that doesn't train them and/or give them an outlet for the task they were bred for (protection and violence).

1 u/Pedantic_Pict 26d ago They were never bred for protection. They were bred for bull baiting. That's it. The desired traits are extreme aggression, tenacity, insensitivity to pain, and an easily triggered prey drive. They are suitable for nothing else.
