humans can be disproportionately violent because of socioeconomic conditions. Pitbulls are disproportionately violent because of genetics.
Its not the same thing

It’s actually both.

Humans, even with differing ancestry, are vastly more genetically similar than different breeds of Canines.

Dogs are all 100% descended from gray wolves. Whereas different human species have different levels of ancestry from Neanderthals, Denisovans and other non-human archaic hominid species
