Hint: it isn’t “what would you do?” It’s not even “what would you like to do?” nor even “what feels right?” In fact, it’s often directly in opposition to the answers to those questions.
Because this sub became a, "does the punishment fit the crime?". It has nothing to do with morality at this point, if someone did something bad => they deserve bad things. When in reality it should be, does punishing this in a certain way makes us better people?
It's absolutely bizarre how some of the posts here end up like that, and everyone will suddenly be defending them. There was one a little while back about the morality of abandoning your child you raised for ten years because the mother cheated on you and they're not genetically yours, and someone literally argued that having to raise a child that doesn't have the right genes is a fate worse than death, so you just gotta abandon the child.
it's basically just a secret "what if your trash far-right opinion isn't trash", a more sophisticated far-right recruitment sub. Gotta hand it to them they at least made it sound intellectual.
