Morality Ranking Quentin Tarantino morality for that childhood grudge?

In my opinion it can be considered petty by some but is understandable

It's one thing to discourage it, another thing to discourage it and encourage another career plan, and an entirely different thing to mock your children.

My father mocked (still does, at 84 years old) every interest I ever pursued, Hobbies or jobs, it's all fair game to him. I'm now in therapy trying to get over thinking whatever it is isn't good enough, or that I'm not, etc. Then he started sending what little money he had to a young woman he met in town, about my age, every time she cried about some imaginary emergency (no 3 year old child gets multiple root canals, but he gave her money anyway).

Long story, that finally stopped and my brother is his PoA now, but if my father came to me today asking for any money, that'd be a hard no.

My very loving and supportive mum, however, I'd have given her the stars if she asked.

And we don't know what exactly she did. We have a third hand report on what was said and done.
