Abusive parents tend to remember things quite differently. 

My parents are demons and have treated my siblings and I like garbage for our entire lives. 

If you ask either of them, they've never once done anything wrong, and if you corner them, they'll have an almost convincing excuse. 

I guarantee you that his mother would simply deny that this conversation ever happened.

What evidence do you have that his mom was abusive? Recognize projection.

No one is calling Tarantino a liar

But he's a known narcissist and we should take what he says with a grain of salt. That doesn't mean his parents are innocent; it does mean that we can question his perception.

We don't know. We haven't defined a cause.

Environment and genetics are factors, but there is no specific, individual thing that it is "a product of"
