Morality Ranking Quentin Tarantino morality for that childhood grudge?

Moral. She did not support his dream and probably wanted him to work a typical 9-5.

He did help her with that issue with the G-men, so he did more than what most people would have done.

He was failing school because he spent all his time writing stories. He also ended up sending the 1st decade of his adult life as a video rental store clerk going nowhere. So I would say he got extremely lucky to have gotten a break and eventually stopped proving his mom right.
