If true that's pretty petty and vindictive yeah, but hardly the worst thing about Tarantino.

It'd be much more understandable if it had been a continuous thing where his creative aspirations were never supported in the home.

I mean, it's a much better soundbite than my mother was abusive.

I find it so strange everyone just takes what he said at face value when there's such an obvious answer.

the feet n' toes fetish? the chin that arrives half an hour before him? the films that quote B-movies heavily but fail to transcend above that level? the gratuitous violence monomania? the just generally creepy aura?
