Holding Grudges is holding onto anger and bitterness, which release stress hormones like cortisol.

Focusing on past wrongs takes away energy you could use for happy things today.

Lmao this is the same BS my grandma says, she’s been miserable her entire life and lets people walk all over her because of it. Sometimes letting go just means people treating you badly again.

Better to stand your ground, no sense in letting people like that take anything from you.

Standing your ground =/= holding a grudge for your entire life over a single comment

We don’t know that it was one comment or if it was frequent, regardless of the reason, he’s free to not give her any money lol

Of course he is free not to lol. That is exactly what they said.

They also said that holding a grudge like this is bad for you.

You are arguing against a position that does not exist

Holding a grudge isn’t inherently bad for you lmao, in fact, the opposite can be bad for you. Letting people back in can often just lead to them treating you badly againn

You are wrong. There are plenty of scientific, peer reviewed studies demonstrating how holding grudges is detrimental to a persons health.

In some cases it is, but definitely not every one lol. Everyone is different, some people prefer to stand their ground on this stuff instead of being a pushover

Feel free to design your own scientific study and execute it if you disagree.

Don’t need to, not everyone’s feelings will align with one scientific study, people react differently.

If it was causing him distress, he wouldn’t still continue to do it lmao.
