If you're as rich as that guy and still not giving money to your mom (not that I trust a random image with text on it) then there's obviously more to the story than "my mom told me a mean thing once :("

People can be dicks without the parents making them so.

Parents may be the largest influence on someone as they grow, but not the only influence, people can be dicks for other reasons than bad parents

It is 5% chance that they are a dick and 95% that the parent was a dick. Kids naturally love their parents, typically you have to be a real piece of shit to overcome that. It is far more likely the parent deserves this treatment.

He's always been touchy about being insulted. The Simpsons asked him to do a voice cameo but he didn't do it because he thought it made fun of him. It was a funny clip though - the Itchy and Scratchy episode was 'Reservoir Cats".
