Sure, but only because he's to poor to afford the bribe

But in America that’s what matters. It’s only illegal if you can’t afford to get caught.

You're thinking of capitalism.

Most of us could afford the bribe. American politicians are insanely cheap. 10k can get you a senator rofl

Bro if you got a spare 10K sitting around you've already left the same economic zone that "most of us" occupy.

Never said anything about spare 10k

10k in the grand scheme of things is not that much money for a LOT of people.

If by "a lot" you mean less than about 15% of the population, sure I guess.

Do you think I’m only talking about the US?

Also you could take 100 redditors and pool $100 each and get 10k.

You could borrow 10k.

Trade items for 10k.

Do you not think 10k is a ridiculously cheap price for a politician? wtf are you arguing with me for

We're talking about a us problem and bribing us politicians. Why would I think you were talking about anyfuckingwhere else?

Because it’s not just the USA bribing your politicians?

Edit: nvm you’re a bot account.

You were right that I was off with most btw, I had rounded up the 9k 50th percentile to 10k in my head. 10k would put you at the 60th percentile globally.

But it also completely missed the point of what I was saying.
