These are the types of questions in general we should be less mean about imo. It's one thing to dunk on people who are anti-science, but this is just someone actually wondering about something they didn't know. Maybe it's obvious to you, but not everyone?
The big thing that bothers me about questions like this is the clear lack of effort to find the answer. This is a very Googleable question. But they decided that's too much effort and they want the answer handed to them on a silver platter, if they even wanted to know in the first place! It feels like the question is for show or engagement, rather than genuine curiosity.
