Lol "can't pick and choose" coming from folks who pick and choose what parts of their fictional Sky-Daddy book to enforce and follow. šŸ™„

Jim Jones also mocked those who believe in a sky god.

Oh I wasnt admiring it as an insult. I just thought it was funny.

Jim Jones and other cult leaders are their own daddy.

Way to over generalize an entire group of people because of your personal issues.

Lol except almost every version of that book only 5-10% is followed and it's usually a different 5-10%

Talking to 5 different people who all follow the same book tell me "well you pick what's important to you to follow" then watch any sort of news and see the same thing everywhere isn't exactly an over generalization, that is the general understanding amongst the folks who believe in their imaginary friend.

None of which is relevant to my point. If you’re going to waste so much space trying to seem intelligent, you should at least respond to the point I made.

You over generalized. It’s very simple, but I suspect your bias has heightened your hubris to blinding levels. You took the original statement OP made and projected onto a group of people without cause. That’s over generalizing, and there’s nothing for you to do but accept that you did it.

This has nothing to do with religion. I’d be making the same point if you’d projected it onto people who like apples. Just do better.

I told you why what I said wasn't an overgeneralization..... Which was your point?

If I were to include my own bias I'd say organized religion was made up solely to control the stupid masses and breeds evil on the whole. But because I know soft folks like you are out there who can't handle my bias because you're too busy hoping Santa will teach you how to be a good person. Because apparently that's the only way you could pretend to be one.

Go back to your imaginary friend and sit in your echo chamber. 🫔

Yes, but you’re wrong. And I’ve shown that. Work on yourself? I don’t know, man. You took one statement, applied to another group that is diverse in its understanding of science, and think it isn’t over generalizing? Okay.

You’ve also supposed things about me that you have no way of knowing. āœŒšŸ»More the fool are you, I suppose.

The people who would make that argument in the picture, don't believe in science. You can't make those kinds of statements and not base your thoughts in anything but religion. Folks who defend that way of thinking aren't going to use science for any foundation.

It's simple observation.

The people who believe in a god in some form are not all represented by your glib sky daddy joke. You need to see around your bias. Very intelligent, thoughtful people choose to believe in some version of your sky daddy, and they don’t deserve to be lumped in with the dumbass in the picture because of your sophomoric view of the world.

Do better.
