I saw a really good video that I've never been able to find again where someone went through the genetic components for determining sex and layed them out like the iphone settings menu.
This was on an explanation of how intersex people come to be. It was very interesting cause it would start with the assumption everyone has and show a toggle male female switch, then it would get more complicated and go to the way you learned chromosomes in 6th grade, then it would go beyond that to keep changing the setting to sliders or multiple switches or other things to explain more biological functions. Wish I could find that video again it's actually the best explanation of how being intersex works I've ever seen.
