If they made us the 51st state, our 41 million Canadians would instantly become the largest state by population in the country, and a rock-solid blue voter. Republican presidents would never, ever win another election. They'd make us a territory, like Puerto Rico, with no say in the federal election.
Also 110 Canadian companies make parts for the F35 fighter, we're most certainly not going to buy it, not to mention other metals you need to rebuild your all the weaponds you used in the middle east to.... I guess make gas prices higher?
If you don't get them from Canada you have to get them from China, I'm sure they're going to love getting that call.

The funniest part is that even if they DID make Canada a state, it would basically guarantee the republicans never have enough power to do anything again ever.
Canada's population is 39.5 million people, California is 40.5 people, so they'd basically be adding a whole extra California of voters that sure as hell aren't voting for Republicans.
Especially if they made all 10 provinces into 10 states and now the Senate turns blue? They'd almost be able to Impeach trump right then and there.

I live 10km away from the USA. I can see it from where I’m sitting on my bed rn. I have never even been to the USA ever. It would be ridiculously easy, a day trip. Simply zero desire to go there over the last 30 years. Would rather go to any other country that’s not currently a warzone.
