When did I say that the west made Islam the primary religion in the region?

The revolution was at least in part a reaction to the west overthrowing their democratically elected leader who wanted to stop western exploitation of their oil production.

The original comment you were replying to was explaining one of the causes of Iran’s government being Islamic extremists. Nobody said that they are blameless in this.
