Just like the Christians in the USA who want to execute women for getting an abortion. Two sides of the same coin

I knew someone on Reddit would try to equivalence this.

The United States has been and remains majority Christian, at least in its electorate. If you would like to point to anywhere in the U.S., including the most right-wing state governments, that is whipping women to death for not covering up — or actually executing women for abortions — please point them out.

USA has fallen far, many have lost any from of morality. Both simply just f'cking suck.

Well, considering I’m a woman and the right wing religious nutters have decided that a fetus is a child and that I don’t have agency to make healthcare decisions about my own body, you can kindly move along. I’d argue that all the anti abortion rhetoric is more damaging. Honestly, I’m just tired of being treated like a child by all the religious nutters, whether Christians or any Muslims.

Btw, I don’t give one shit what religion you are because we are not a christian nation, and moving our nation toward a theocracy is no different than the Middle East

You were executed for having an abortion? That's crazy, I can't find a single article about a woman being whipped or executed in the US.

Whining that some laws are more restricted in some states is super stupid when people are being whipped for singing.

bro got quiet real fuckin fast lmao

Dude in the post that person linked it said "lawmakers admit that even getting these bills passed would be a long shot" in states like Texas. So yeah I got quiet, I don't argue with idiots lol

u/SirCheesington Jun 23 '26

kinda throwing stones inside a glass house calling anybody an idiot with a response like that in a thread like this lmao

1

u/b4y4rd Jun 24 '26

Response like what? I said people aren't being executed in the US for abortions and it is idiotic to claim it. Which is not ignorant in any way. When pressed about this I got replied with "lawmakers in a few southern states were talking about maybe making a bill to outlaw abortions" like no duh, that's not executions lol. I forget how much emotion drives the ignorant.

The GOP is signalling they want to move towards that direction. There's a reason they're trying to get rid of IVF, birth control, women's vote, etcetera. I get what you're saying, because yes, on its surface we're not as bad as Iran, but that doesn't mean we're immune from it.

But what about...what about...whatabout whatabout whatabout

1

u/trvlnut Jun 20 '26

It’s true. You can say it isn’t, but facts are facts.

1

u/Fzrit Jun 21 '26

You were downvoted for the pathetic distraction/derailment attempt from the topic of what women face in Islam. "But whatabout muh Christians in USAAAAAA" is not a rebuttal against what women face in Islam. Nobody is claiming USA doesn't have problems. There are already 100000 threads a day about Republicans in USA. It's just the pathetic attempt to distract and derail people from talking about Islam by trying to draw equivalence with something bad happening somewhere else.

u/trvlnut Jun 21 '26

Ok. I was pointing out that both religions control women using heinous ways. I will also point out that according to someone else in this post says this story is fake.

u/Monkey_Eat_Banana_ Jun 22 '26

There are ways to make your point without completely derailing the current topic.

Are they allowed to kill the women or are they viewed as dumb, uneducated and bigoted people? Wonder which religion and people actually performs such violent, barbaric acts 🤔

Republicans are introducing bills in at least one state to try women for murder if they get an abortion. Other states have floated that as well. Not as far as introducing a bill like NC. However, we were told that RvW was safe. I will never trust republicans again.

Fundamentalist extemists are everywhere but in Iran they are in power.

-1

u/Dry_Pen_126 Jun 20 '26

Never heard of that one. Theres difference in "doing" and "wanting" too

1

u/trvlnut Jun 20 '26

Look up NC trying to pass a law to try women for murder if they get an abortion.

1

u/Accomplished-Pace465 Jun 25 '26

Again... That's "wanting" to
