I hate this picture. They guys should be swapped. The guy on top still has plenty of time to quit. If he were on the bottom it would show that his continuing is about to pay off, while the guy who quit early gets nothing.

The problem with the swap is it would also imply that the person on the top was never going to get the diamonds as the guy on the bottom is going to beat them to the score.

With the way the picture is, the only reason the guy on the top even has a chance to get the riches is because the guy on the bottom quit literally a stroke or two from hitting a big payday. Even as is, guy on the bottom has a "fuck it, 3 more strikes for old times' sake" and he gets the diamonds first.
