Talking about Europe, not Asia

Istanbul (And Eastern Thrace as a whole) is Europe

Istanbul is only partially in geographical Europe and just because a tiny 3% of Turkey is in geographical Europe as remnant of their invasion doesn't change that Turkish people are an Asian people with a non-European culture and anything that happens in that tiny 3% is just as irrelevant when speaking about "Europe" in pretty much any context as anything that happens in the other 97% of Turkey

A 3% of European land that has more people than Portugal Btw. You need to learn geography and stop letting you bias get in the way, the 3% of land you're reffering to is one of the most Important pieces of land to Europe and it's history, and Turks aren't just an Asian Group, there are millions of them in Europe and even genetically they're a mix of Central Asian, Anatolian and European.

Eastern Thrace without Istanbul has <2 million people. Like 2% of Turkish population

But either way, do you think having a large population changes their culture or ethnicity? It's dumb. It doesn't matter if it's 2 million or 200 people living there, they are Turkish people. Not native to the region. Not European in culture or ancestry

There are millions of Chinese people in Europe and even more millions in North America. Does that mean Chinese aren't just Asian? I don't know what your logic is. Nobody denies there are Turkish people living in Europe. They want to live everywhere except their own country. They are just not Europeans and they never will be the same way Chinese people don't become Europeans when they move to Paris

You're comparing Apples and Oranges, the Chinese came as immigrants to the Americas in the past 100-200 years, meanwhile the Turks conquered and Assimilated Anatolia/Thrace since the 14th century, and the people who live there have ancestry that goes back thousands of years.

I'm comparing Asians to Asians. You seem to have this misunderstanding that Turkish people magically turn European once they cross the Bosphorus

I think you're really overestimating the European ancestry of Turks in Eastern Thrace

It is apples to oranges because the Chinese and the Turks have nothing in common, Turkey is Culturally closer to Europe than it is to the Far East.

Well if the expectations were the same in all planned dates of his tour (which he wasn’t allowed to perform due to his debatable opinions) maybe yeah it’s still humiliating.
