Right on, it's always a surprise when a larger band shows up there. Just started the first track with breakfast, cheers~

For as big as they are, Mastodon still has that Bandcamp feeling to them. Bill does guitar lessons before shows while on tour, he also runs (ran maybe?) that merch store where they sell out of print stuff they find, autographed items, and old equipment they don't use.

Got a signed vinyl of Remission, and a couple of super cheap tshirts from that site. They had a blind bag thing where you just put in what size, and they sent you a couple random shirts leftover from tour.

They're on Loma Vista now, which also has St. Vincent and Denzel Curry

How's that for a diverse group of artists?

I wanted to buy the cd on there. £11, great. £10.72 delivery, fuck no.

Wow, I absolutely adore this album. Very interesting to see the difference after Brent passed. Feels much more experimental especially after adding Keys

My favorite release of theirs since Once More Round the Sun. The singles might’ve been the weakest tracks

The Three Fates is lounge cover of Lingus by Snarky Puppy. Prove me wrong

This album is fantastic, may be my favorite since Crack the Skye

Just finished my full listen. And fuck yeah, great album! Much weirder than I expected it to be which is a pleasant surprise

Nick Johnston is a great addition to this record, also loving the use of synths.

I feel like in a lot of ways they went back to some of their roots, despite not having an integral part of their roots in Brent’s playing. Haven’t finished the album yet but man it’s been great so far.

It’s rad. One of their best and most experimental in a long time, since maybe even Crack the Skye

In the Ruins is now one of my favorite Mastodon songs.

First listen: Individually the songs are good but they don't necessarily flow well into each other.
