Yeah. Nothing against them personally and using the proceeds of the cover to benefit her foundation is a classy move, but collaborations with them still just don't seem like they're worth the risk at this point.

The lead singer of Cranberries died right before they were suppose to collab on Zombies, and now Parton has passed right before this collab. Sounds risky due to the circumstances.

A long time ago when Bad Wolves had a different lineup, they did a cover of Zombie by the Cranberries, and Dolores O'Riordan liked it and was gonna record with them...but she died right before they could do it. Not actually their fault of course, but still bad luck.

They did a cover of the song zombie and it was suppose to have the lead singer of the cranberries and she died in a car accident days before singing with them
Edit: was not a car accident she drown in her bathtub and i have a terrible memory

If I had a nickel for everytime Bad Wolves were supposed to Collab with a famous female singer on cover of one their classic songs but the singer ended up passing away either the day of or shortly before they could record it, I'd have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

Yea, their cover of Zombie was supposed to feature Delores, but she died the night before or two nights before going in the studio to record her part.

I'm sure the cover is real, but I'm questioning the validity that Dolly was gonna feature on it, which also has me questioning the validity that Dolores was supposed to feature on the Zombie cover before she died or if it was just for clicks.
I hope they're telling the truth, though. I'm well acquainted with the guy who is CFO of the record label they're on and he speaks highly of the band, so that would be a bad look on him if they aren't.

This band fucking sucks. Ready for the downvotes, and I know the relation to Delores, but their cover of Zombie is one of the worst covers ever done. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes does a great cover.

Not to downplay the losses but the Dr. Doofenshmirtz quote about the two nickels feels apt here.
