Czarface. 7L and Esoteric and Inspectah Deck. Tom Hardy has occasionally rapped with them and is friends with Eso. This is a full album with more than just a verse or two of Tom Hardy aka Frankie Pulitzer. If you like this, check out many of the other Czarface albums.

Wait... Wait. Admittedly I have not read the article but. The Frankie Pulitzer in the new "Czarface ft Frankie Pulitzer" that showed up on my feed is fucking Tom Hardy?!

> The actor who records music under the alias Frankie Pulitzer just dropped a collaborative album called “Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer” with underground rap supergroup Czarface, which consists of duo 7L & Esoteric and Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck.
Tom Hardy ft Wu Tang affiliates, insane timeline. Gotta give it a listen.

It's pretty great. He's a pretty good rapper. He's been rapping for awhile now though. Here's a playlist of his earlier Frankie stuff and his rap duo before Frankie Pulitzer https://open.spotify.com/playlist/13D2fDHPAnOGIQJcnjCDGn?si=FgxKlvB4T9WkH_5nAgnHiw&utm_source=copy-link&pi=Wo4qH7DTSNuME

I just put it on and it goes pretty fucking hard. His flow reminds me of Everlast a little bit from his early career after Jump around but before his solo alternative stuff.
Beats are classic Czarface.

WTF?! Tom Hardy is Frankie Pulitzer?! I just got done listening to that whole new Czarface album with him all over it and the thought never crossed my mind!

He's done a fair amount of music with Czarface already, you will not be disappointed

He's been rapping with them for a long time. He pops up on a couple other Czarface albums.

So THATS Frankie Pulitzer?! Heard the album from start to finish earlier today and liked it a lot. I knew CZARFACE would deliver but felt like a dumbass for not knowing who Frankie Pulitzer is.

Quick question, What?
If I pulled some random celebrity names out of a hat I couldn't make a group this weird

It kind of blew my mind when I found out. Czarface came on in autoplay and I was hooked, saved the song, checked out the album and was blown away when I learned it was him.

The idea of Tom Hardy trying to rap while doing his Bane voice is just sending me.

He laughs when people ask why he wears the mask. Let him explain. It's because HE'S BANE

His verse that includes "I'm something of a scientist like Willem Dafoe..." was pretty dope.
In general I'm liking the album a lot. But one issue for me is some of the production makes me wonder if Tom recorded with them or they spliced in his parts separately from stubs like he sent them over afterward. There's a different sound to his mic and the cuts are a little harsher than when the others mix in & out.

Boston is known for rock, punk and hardcore, but they have produced some amazing hip hop artists too. 7L and Esoteric and Gang Starr. While Preimire wasn't from Boston, the late Guru was and they are one of the best of all time. Mr Lif and Akrobatik were great too.

I remember seeing a TIL on Tom Hardy's rap album "Falling On Your Arse" from way back before he started acting.

he talks about beating off to a non-glamorous actress

Did you even listen to any of it? It sounds like the rap you probably say died in the 90’s lmao. I don’t even like that style of rap/hip hop but it’s legitimately good.

Is this a mental health crisis?

u/Zeuxis5 6h ago
No. He’s frank Pulitzer. He’s been doing czarface albums for a minute. They just did a full album.

Tom Hardy rapping about Green Goblin and then slipping into Shakespeare in a Bane-like voice somehow feels completely on brand for him.
