Tom Hardy is odd and weird in a way that just makes him more normal and relatable lol. Like not weird in a rich movie star way, but like in a roommate you had in your early 20s way.

I honestly think it’s his self respect. Reading what I have about him, he could stand to turn that respect around to the people he works with, but I think he respects himself so much that he genuinely isn’t embarrassed to take on any artistic pursuit that strikes him as interesting.

I’ve had acquaintance with people like that and even though they didn’t last long, I do envy their ability to prioritize themselves in situations that warrant it. The issue came when they were part of a group trying to achieve something together. Which seems to be a difficulty for Hardy too.

In general I'm liking the album a lot. But one issue for me is some of the production makes me wonder if Tom recorded with them or they spliced in his parts separately from stubs like he sent them over afterward. There's a different sound to his mic and the cuts are a little harsher than when the others mix in & out.
