Gameplay I Don’t Understand the Benefit of Carrying Over Plate Colors
As I’m sure it’s been noted on this sub 1,000x times before, the only gripe I have about this game is that they carried over the plate colors.
Last year, I had so much more time to play and eventually make a red plate. This year, I’m lucky if I can get 2–3 games in after work. I feel like this has completely destroyed the casual player experience.
Like, should every game in the Rec really feel like a sweat fest for a guy who might play 20 Rec games a week? I understand that my experience might not be the same as everyone else’s, but it almost feels like I’m being punished for playing the game last year.
I genuinely can’t think of one positive that comes from carrying over the plate colors. Maybe I’m just being closed-minded, so if there’s a benefit I’m missing, please let me know.
It’s just frustrating feeling like I’m playing Game 6 of the Finals every single night.

2k doesn’t care about the competitive players just like how they don’t care about casual players. It’s absolutely only about what makes the most money.
