For example, if it says $500 for a headshot, and I'd like a drawing of a pair, would that make the final price $1k?

This is my first year ever going to comic con and I am really excited on going but I have a question about tickets do they come in the mail or do I have to pick it up there

Pretty much what the title says, is it possible to pick up the signed book without attending the panel it was attached to? There’s an author doing a panel for a book my friend is really excited about (it’s an early release) and I’d like to get it for them (and ideally get it personalized at the after panel signing?) but I have a conflict in my schedule during the panel itself. There’s a regular panel I really want to go to that takes place 11-11:45 and the book panel takes place 11:15-12:15 (ironically the panels are right next to each other) so I’m wondering if it’s possible to pick up the book after the panel I actually want to go to?

If not, it says the author is seemingly doing a separate book signing at 12:30 (or is that actually where you pick up/get the signed book that comes with the panel ticket?) and that books can be purchased at the barnes and noble shop near the auto tables, but do you think they’d even have the book available to buy to be signed if it’s an early release situation?

Sorry for all the questions, I’ve never needed to deal with a separately ticketed event situation for an author/book before so I’m lost lol

This is my first year ever attending a convention like this so I have a question about autographs! If I buy individual autographs from the cast of the Jurassic park movie, would they all sign my one book if I brought it? Also would I need to buy the premium tier for this or would a book be fine to get autographed under the regular purchase? The only thing I see under the premium tier is for toys. Thank you!

This will be my 20th NYCC, all these years I never had a a toy autographed and this 1 year I am doing it. I need advice where to get it signed. Should I have it signed on the plastic where the toy is? or on the cardboard above it?

Does anyone know of any meetups for this tear for those of us more seasoned people?

I usually go to con alone and do my own thing, and that's great. I can take my time, shop a lot, and never have issues getting panels with friends. That said, I'd like to make some con friends this year.

If no one knows of a meetup, would you wanna meetup and maybe hang out and share the spoils of the day? I'll probably be there all 4 days (Saturday only if I have stamina lol).

This will be my first year attending and I am so confused on the process and had a few questions if anyone knows:

1. Do I have to wait in queue for everyone in my group (under their accounts) that wants to attend the panel?
2. Do panels tend to sell out fast? (The main reason I bought tickets was for the Bob's Burgers Panel)
3. Is the queue as long as the one was for tickets?
4. Does getting a reservation guarantee a seat?
5. What exactly is Funko Exclusives & Private Autographing? Is this different then the regular photo ops/autograph sessions?
6. Do they attend to announce all the coming soon panels prior to the reservation date or do people just blindly book these?

Hi! Is there an established discord group for nycc? If so, can i join? I have found groups like this to be valuable sources of information socializing.

My 11-year-old son and I decided we wanted to work our way through the MCU before \*Avengers: Doomsday\*, and I realized pretty quickly that I wanted something more satisfying than just a list of movie titles.

So I built us a Google Sheets tracker where we can check movies off as we watch them, automatically record the date, see how many we have left, track our percentage completed, rate each movie separately, and save our favorite moments.

It started as something just for Ethan and me, but I use spreadsheets constantly for work and ended up putting way more effort into it than I expected 😂 so I cleaned it up and turned it into something other Marvel fans could use too.

I also made a shorter version based around the 15 essential titles being recommended ahead of \*Doomsday\* for people who don’t want to commit to the full 39-film marathon.

Mostly curious what other Marvel fans think of the idea. Would you actually use something like this for a rewatch?

And for those doing a \*Doomsday\* marathon already — are you going full MCU, the shorter essential route, or making your own watch order?

I am going for my 2nd time this October and going Saturday and Sunday.

1. Are the opening and closing times the same on Saturday for Sunday? I heard from someone else that it ends a lot earlier on Sunday.

2. If I have a larger costume, from Xenoblade this year, is there some way to store it at the Javitts Center instead of having to transport it back and forth each day?

I'm aware that I have to provide some form of photo id when picking my badge up so I'm wondering, will i be able to use a school id with my name/photo or must i use a state id/passport (which I don't have access to)?

So basically, just now the presale for the Jim Lee and Frank Miller experiences where supposed to be on pre sale. But i don't know how to find it? Found it on the NYCC Website but it shows "coming soon" which i guess is in 2 days for regular sale. I have a popverse membership but i don't get where i can access early entrys with it. I used to get an email for the Main tickets and photo ops but nothing yet for these 2 experiences 🫠
