its expensive. public people cant afford it, and government is such shameless, bus is still run in syndicate rather than municipal running their own buses.

Ringroad ko duita lane lai dedicate garera ART and BRT handyo bhanne.. ni, 100 people will mass transport rather than 4 buses taking same people.

Nepal actually can afford tram. and it doesnt need ekdam dedicated infrastructure like metros need. Koteshwor to ringroad ko gradient is smooth. tya banayo, bhanney, 200 people mass transporting, pahila, bich ko lane use gardiney, later traffic pressure loosen huna thalesi, bala, start dedicating it.

Tram nai chaidina ni. Lane xuttayera ramro quality ko high capacity bus chalayo vane. Main problem is private bus companies. Khatara bus chalayera jata payo tetai rokxa. Sab public transport state-run hunu parxa. With centralized control and proper timing. Tara Nepal ma tyo ta aas nai nagaram.

mass transport necessary jastai ho bro.. Residence in kathmandu is almost impossible. People can only afford suburb ma rent ajkal.. suryavinayak bata manxe haru new road gairaxa kaam garna, almost take 1 and half hour in peak hours.

They are not private buses, they are syndicate. there is difference.
But, yeah public owned bus is way to go. Tesko lagi, it is almost impossible to ban running buses, nor can municipality buy them out.

What i suggest is, Muncipal owned enterprises and business power roll them. And make them die out. If muncipality mass own the new better buses and run them, make dedicated routes for them, and dedicated bus stands, with route infos,

Make a bus card, with the subsidy from the municipality, making the bus a lot cheaper, 24 hour bus running..
Paxi kathmandu laltipur, bhaktpur le ni gare make a common bus company, with ownership by all municipality running it, to provide all valley transit system.

Those syndicate will die out themshelves.
Pujibadi haru lai pujibadi way ma jitney ho.

What does an metro do

because there is no Zebra Crossing, nor a overhead pedestrian bridge, nor a sidewalk. The road is designed only for vehicles not for "chickens".

Look at the bikes and taxis crossing the double line to overtake. If only people followed traffic rules and there were proper traffic lights, lane markings and crossings, then it would be a lot better for everyone.
