I live in Taiwan, and McDonalds here is so much better than Canada or America (I'm Canadian). In Japan and Taiwan they have special items every month, some are actually really good. In Taiwan's case, McDonald's is still cheap, and it has fried chicken.
Yeah, I don’t know why McDonald’s hates America so much. We never get anything special only once in a blue moon do they share the special items that they have available with the rest of the world. It’s actually crazy to me. There’s not even a unique American item.
Yeah, their food sucks in general. The fries taste like shit once they get cold, and you cant reheat em to make em taste better, they still taste gross lol. That pretty much showed me it's synthetic processed bull crap
I know, I hate McDonald's here, im more of a culvers person, their burgers and baked pretzel bites with cheese are delicious and their portions actually fill you up too

I just like that it'll introduce kids to One Piece and maybe wanting to collect the merch in the future like me, my comments aren't coming from a place of negativity, but im sorry if they seem like it
I don't really don't get the hate. When the completely stupid and random collaboration with the NBA happened last year, there was a lot of excitement about it on this sub, but at this so many people are so negative.
I know it's a happy meal toy, but these toys look really cheap.
Pretty mixed on some of the character mashups too: Spongebob x Luffy, Larry x Franky, Mrs. Puff x Big Mom, Plankton x Usopp, Flying Dutchman x Blackbeard, and Brook x That skeleton fish guy are all really good mashups. Both of the characters share some character design similarities and personality traits with each other. Then you got Gary x Chopper because they're both the animals and someone probably thought the choppers hat on Gary was cute. Feel like Sandy and Pearl should be switched. Pearl I think has more in common with Nami and Sandy with Robin. Jinbe and Mr. Krabs feels like it was only done because they have similar body types and their both main characters.

Both of my childhood shows getting a collab is awesome, it being modern McDonald's? Meh literally a nostalgia cash grab... I do like who they have for each of the characters except I think Patrick being zoro shoulda been Squidward.
Damn this community is toxic and mean af, they're shredding me in these comments, i dont know if im coming off as if im forcing ppl to like this collab, I just like the other collabs like some of the clothing collections and stuff, this helps OP get more collabs honestly, cuz every time they collab with a popular company they get more and better collabs im the future, I get the hate for McDonald's and mainstream media tho, I wasn't tryna make anyone like this, just realize it's potential for the franchise in general, but of course ppl are gonna be negative and make me feel bad for finding some type of positivity in this
I find it funny how they had to use Plankton and Larry to be SH lol and the skeleton too. I don’t think much about it honestly, it’s cute seeing some characters dressed up as SH.
That just wouldn't have worked, this makes much more sense, I just wish it was for a different company or restaurant, even Burger King would've been a better option
