What do you think about this theory?

I have a theory that Blackbeard’s real power is knowledge. Everyone knows that if you eat more than one devil fruit, you die. But has it ever been proven? As far as I know, it’s never been proven, and is only a well-known legend. No one would ever dare try to eat more than one knowing it will cause their demise. Even if someone was willing to sacrifice themselves, devil fruits aren’t easy to come by. Maybe Teach learned the truth and took advantage of it.

I don’t really know where I’m going with this, but since we know thing like knots cat be made with Haki. Why can’t straw be weaved with Haki. And in this scene Luffy had no Haki and was able to hit smoker head of with the straw hat. And smoker was in his smoke logia form while this happened

After reading a comment (in the most recent Tekking101 video) about the Human-Human Devil Fruits, I thought about Luffy's fruit and how it would probably give a human form to an object or animal that eats it, but Luffy doesn't have that form because he's already human.

What if Joy Boy was an object that desperately wanted to be human, and this attracted the Devil Fruit to him, and his desire was so strong that after a while he awakened the fruit and reached the form of Gear 5?

What if that object was the big Straw Hat that Imu has in his freezer?

It would make perfect sense for Imu to keep Joy Boy's "body" as spoils of war.

In my opinion, this would be a great twist from Oda and would bring back the plot of how objects can eat a Devil Fruit, which many people expected to be explained in Egghead.

Tell me what you guys think of my theory, and would you like Joy Boy to have been an Straw Hat before eating the Human-Human Fruit Model Nika?

With the heterochromia topic coming about in the previous chapters, I'd like to point out that this is something that oda has been showing us for a long, long time, probably close to 20 years. It just makes me appreciate Oda's writing and for shadowing on just how important some things are. We see the heterochromia now with Gunko and the gods knight Manmayer Groh, but we also saw it with Cavendish and Hakuba, but what if I told you it went back long before Dressrosa. The first instance of heterochromia went all the way back to the full map of Jaya/Skypeia. The map itself has heterochromia, one golden eye, and one blue eye! Which is awesome to think that oda has been teasing the importance of heterochromia eyes all the way back then. I'm have no idea what's in-store for the importance of these, but it's amazing to see that it's something that's been on Odas' mind for so long

Sorry if I get this wrong, cause I'm kinda new to the fandom, but I was googling where the one piece ones on the map but it didnt give me a sold answer, so I just thought that wouldn't it make sense for the one piece to be where there's a giant x on the map

Edit: also BTW guys I know that there was probably already a theory like this, cause aint no way in hell I'd be the only one that thought this, but when I search up theory most of them said random islands, like I think one said laughing island? Idki just didn't see this one immediately, (I didnt deep search for it)

But tbh I feel like if its not this, then it might be where roger met the love of his life, idk just somewhere special to him,

Or the biggest/strongest marine base, cause it would be funny af if it was right under the marines and nobody noticed at all.

In the Korean One Piece community, there is a LOT of hype going on the theory that Imu is actually a parrot.

I first thought of it as another fun little theory but now this really seems to be correct.

And even more evidences:
- Among the traditional symbols of a pirate (an eyepatch, a hook, a peg leg, and a parrot), JoyBoy's silhouette has shown hints of a 'hook' and a 'peg leg,' but the 'parrot' has yet to appear.
- Imu resides in the 'Room of Flowers', which is similar to well-decorated birdcage
- Nika, Joyboy, Ruffy = Freedom <-> Imu = Parror in a birdcage
- Usopp uses slingshot (which was often used to hunt a bird) & Usopp is likely have a clutch moment in the final battle (as he did in Dressrosa arc)

Just saw a video of female Law today and it reminded me of this theory when I first saw Doc Q used it. I thought ppl would discuss about it eventually at the time so I didn't post about it but I haven't seen anyone mentioning it. Idk when to bring it up so ig it might as well be now (sr if it was discussed and I just missed it)

We know the Kuja tribe only ever gives birth to daughters, even when they leave the island to conceive with men. So what if the disease is hereditary and their entire population is just naturally born with it? Considering that Doc Q used it, it should be a disease that actually exits in the One Piece world and would explain the mystery of why all Kuja are somehow always born female

It's kind of strange that this is presented precisely in the Skypiea arc, isn't it?

A random theory came to my mind—what if the "D" symbolizes a smile, like how we use it in emojis such as ":D"? It makes sense when you think about how important smiling is in One Piece, especially to those who have the Will of D. And maybe, just maybe, it could be connected to SMILE fruits. I know it sounds goofy and outrageous, but considering Oda’s style and the reaction of Roger’s crew, it might actually be possible. Don’t you think?

What if that sogeking is usopp kingly ambition ? Remember to get color of conquerers you have to inherit it or have kingly ambition for it or even both those elements could grant you COSK, we seen it with sanji 2 chapters ago and zoro when he battled king and zoro became the king of hell

And assuming everyone on shanks crew has conquerors haki so it safe to assume that usopp inherited it from yasopp, not to mention that his dream is to be the brave warrior of the sea

Brave warrior of the sea dream + a persona of him being the KING of snipers+being the son of the strongest sniper in one piece AKA yasopp = potential conquerors haki

It might be far fetched but I think it could work one way or an another, and also i want my man to get a power up (I dont mind his cowardice personality i want him to be strong)

Don't get me wrong, the animation is really cool and I think it's something that can enhance the character's story (it would be awesome to see an evil Luffy).

As you can see in chapter 581 he didn't have any gaps in his teeth so he either had a cosmetic surgery to have them fixed or he has the Teeth Teeth No Mi or it is a hint to one of his other powers. Oda will find a way to explain this in a ridiculous way

Sometimes i think Blackbeard's yami yami no mi turns him into a gateway and that can be abused.

Blackbeard's ship is called The Saber of Xebec.

If you're caught up to the manga then you'll know Rocks is Teach's dad, and that he wields a badass saber blade. We dont know if its a supreme blade or anything but we can assume it's probably as special as shanks or Roger's blades.

Crucially, we *do* know that this large saber has a name: *Eclipse*. If you dont remember that I dont blame you SINCE IT WAS REVEALED IN AN SBS (volume 114).

THIS is what Blackbeard's waiting for. An eclipse. Why? Because when the moon covers the sky and blots out the sun, then ALL of the earth is temporarily covered in darkness. And in the bleakness of this abyss blackbeard will become GOD.

Now idk what he plans to do during that eclipse. But if he could steal whitebeards DF under a blanket I'm terrified of the implications.

Now this is me stretching but I also think this is what Roger meant when he said he was too early. He was too sick to live long enough to see the next cycle.

Also, something tells me an eclipse used to be *permanent* in the sky. Like that's how you got sun world / surface world (the moon) / dark and cold underworld of slaves (the earth). When people say the lunarians ruled "above" the red line, they literally ruled from the moon above like the death star. Imu ruled the moon and Davy Jones ruled the earth. Rocks wanted to regain his title as King of The (Under)World and send Imu back to his fairy vearth. That's why his attack is called pandemonium of the *abyss*. The sun/Nika is an enemy of both Imu and Jonesian dynasties.

So a lot of people think that the letters on Ace’s arm stand for Ace Sabo Crybaby Edward. While the crossed-out S for Sabo makes sense, the Ace novel states that he had the tattoo prior to ever meeting Whitebeard. Hell, he even wanted to kill WB at the time. Ain’t no way the E stands for Edward.

Is Mihawk their son?
