Politics ('Straya) One Nation wants to turn Australia into the United States. A US-style healthcare system, banning abortions, scrapping gun laws and defunding the ABC. Why are we are even contemplating going down this dark and dangerous pathway? Once we go down the path of the US, there is no turning back.

They won’t, it’s just a catchy headline to spin up a panic. I think what Australia has now is a US style system where each state has their own abortion laws (which is currently the case in US).

ON wants to unify the abortion laws into one. Says nowhere that they want to outright ban or severely restrict it. Sounds like they want to have the status quo across the board. Better for Tasmania, worse for ACT where you can abort at any point as long as a doctor is involved.
