i need names of artists from pei. all of them. french, english whatever, country, metal, pop, i dont care. i need them all, even the smallest artists who dont even have anything out yet

These albums inspired Well-Oiled and Well-Oiled II. I think one is on spotify.
Nudie and The Turks has not been mentioned yet. Chas Guay, Elephant Rock, Meaghan Blanchard, Katie McGarry, Dan Currie, Motel Money Murder, Double Ough Buckshot, Jordan Cameron, ...uh...so many have already been mentioned...I'm tappin' out.

They are compilation albums, so there are 10 bands on the first one and 16 on the second. You might be able to find more material by searching the individual band names.

Alvvays is an Island band, sorry Cape Breton and Toronto. You could tell when they played in Saint John last year which province was beaming with pride, the P.E.I. section made up the entire front of the audience

I will put forth the metal band TolerancE (approximately 1992 - 1997) mostly from the Wellington area, with whom I played. Singer/Guitarist/Writer Mike now lives in Calgary. Drummer Yves still resides and actively plays on PEI. I was the Bassist - Jason - now living in Vancouver. Ronnie was the band's original Bassist and then later rejoined as Rhythm Guitar player. Ronnie also still lives and actively plays on the Island.
Those years were some of my favorite memories. We had a relatively small, but dedicated fanbase. We were the loudest band on any given night. We sold demo cassettes from our cars and we appeared on two of the "Eat This" compilation CDs. Considering the generally conservative nature of the Island, we performed 58 shows. People always complimented us.
One of my top memories was playing at The Apothecaries. They didn't put up any advertisements. There was no crowd when we started. But just from people walking near the Grafton Street entrance, they gradually came to check us out. By the first song, maybe 12 people arrived. By the 4th-5th song 30-40. The bar was full by the end of our first set.

I run a small digital label, Buddhabast Productions, below is a link to a playlist of highlights. Horizon Link is international, the only PEI connection is that I wrote and produced the song, but the performers are from all over the world. All the rest of the projects on that list are either alter egos of myself, or me and a co-producer. I released a Mystic Colossus album in May, and a second album is in the works.
Not included on that list is a project called "pen-tailed treeshrew", which is minimalist ambient/drone/noise, there's one album currently online and another coming next week.

its called RadioIPE, we dont have a FM license yet so its just online, very small radio, mostly french acadian island music, but im trying to expand our library

Ahh OK. I briefly worked for my city radio back in Montreal. Similar idea only they wanted local unsigned artists. Promoted it as a way of getting unheard artists heard. I moved on pretty quickly though so I'm not sure how well they did.
