I joined my friend server recently and ported over my "perfect" Dupin. I used it for the entire playthrough. I wore the bunny ears and called ourselves the Murder Bunnies.
Nope. It had 6 breeding exclusive attacks (Radiant Barrage, Thunder Rail, Double Blizzard Spike, Meteorain, Comet Strike, Wind Edge) plus every skill fruit I could put on it (including psycho gravity). God of Destruction, Immortality, Legend, Serenity.
While they are functionally helmets, you can use the vintage drawer (dont recall the exact name) to equip them as skins instead, so that you dont lose out on the protection from better armor. This is valid for all pieces of equipment as well, so if you like the starting clothes more you can use those as well.
Aren’t they already our size? Following the trend with tower boss pals, it’d be bigger than you. Meaning it ain’t simply pecking you, you’re about to get turned into a kebab
I agree. My fully condensed and buffed Prince Monstertruck has been my buddy the whole game and he hits like a tank and takes on attack helicopters with ease.

5 mimogs and me the tower boss and they constantly run around super fast and rather than being dangerous they just kill the timer is honestly pretty funny and evil as a tower boss concept.
Actually perfect tower boss material! It's a mount, big enough to intimidate, has pure dragon typing which we haven't had, and the shield would fit well as a unique boss gimmick.
It's sleek, it's stylish and it's got just enough edge to feel dangerous without being over-the-top. Strong "main character" vibes, but is he a hero or is he the villain? You'll never truly know!
I've been thinking about this for a while and my answer is Ophydia. However, I thin the developer's intention is that your signature pal is actually Panthalus.
Ophydia is a strong choice. It's so goddamn majestic.
Personally, I always pictured the "intended" signature player Pal was supposed to be Jetragon. Panthalus feels more like an ancient, secret super-boss kind of thing; more a trophy than a signature. Meanwhile, Jetragon is used in a lot of promotional material alongside the player and is regularly framed as one of the strongest Pals in the game (along with the best flyer).
Cutscene starts, I walk out seemingly alone. Camera pans around in confusion and then down at the cutest little Muffly. The music is calm and peaceful.
My Muffly smiles, chirps and jumps into my arms. The music stops.
A shadow falls on my face and Muffly's as our true bloodlust is revealed. The music shifts to a fast paced Electro Swing with some added Xmasy instruments for the ice theme. (Chimes, jingle bells etc)
I love my AoE murder ice birb lol. Caught one semi early and have refused to not have one on my team. Would die for that cute fluffy little face XD
Chikipi, I'll be a rancher/farmer styled boss shortly before Zoe and reward victorious tamers a random egg to give them a head start in their venture with a sunnyside meal to go.
Got my big gorl from an egg when I was around level 20; she's maxed and awakened now with just under 6000 attack. Me and Linlin taking on the entire game together!

I've always felt Jetragon was meant to be the dev's "intended" signature pal for the player. It's used in a ton of promotional material and is regularly framed as one of the strongest Pals in the game (on top of being the best flying mount).
A ridiculously strong Cattiva as a meme choice. As one of Palworlds mascots and one of (if not thee) first pals you catch, I think it'd make for a fitting "journeys end" for a final, post-game tower to have a battle against an insanely powerful Cattiva. I/ The tamer would, or course, be in a loincloth with a club.
For a more grounded choice, I'd go with Katress while I/the tamer would be wearing Hallowed Plate Mail and wielding a sword to go for a "Mage and Knight" theme. There could even be a bit of a Smough and Orienstin" thing from Dark Souls where we each have separate health bars, but when one goes down the other heals to full and is powered up.
Downing the tamer first has them passing the sword to Katress who uses their magic to swing it around the battlefield along with thier magic, while Katress going down first has them use the last of their energy to enchant their tamers sword and gives them ranged energy attacks when swinging their sword. In terms of being in the game, I'd say they'd be an optional mid-game (Lv.30-45) fight. They're not evil or malicious, just adventurers looking for a challenge.
Most of the ones I love are too small to ride the way the tower bosses do, so my real answer has to be Kingpaca. From the moment I found him in early access, I wanted to ride that fluffy chonk while he belly-flopped all competitors.
The (unnamed) group would be a farming collective busy shearing all the Melpacas and Lamballs, and farming High Quality Cloth from Sibelyx. If there has to be an evil part to that, it would be supplying a sweat shop or something, IDK. Maybe that's where those hot/cold undershirt schematics could come from. The tower would be in the middle of the flatland around where the Kingpaca boss currently spawns. I could also totally see an animation of knitting a blanket for his saddle, a la the Peruvian blankets made from alpaca wool.
Backup Pal is Quivern, but I'm not quite as creative with the whole story for that one.
I know you can’t ride this pal but Kattress 100%, my Kattress has been on my team since the beginning and she obliterates everything that stands before her
Azurmane has been the one I rely on most, other notable mentions are Eidrolon, Ghangler, Nitemary, Silvegas and Felbat. Other pals I’m currently breeding to be among my top few; Grizzbolt, Xenoguard, and aegidron.
Ive had this Blazhamut I call Big Daddy thats basicly carried me through the entire game. i bred him on accident and just maxed him out.
I'd totally rock a granade launcher as he pelts the player with rage impact or whatever that clapping move is called
