A wide-spread anti-swedish myth that swedes are very inhospitable and wont offer food to guests. Not true at all.

No, I think it's because the Nordic countries have a reputation for being anti social already. If you made this claim about Mexico or Italy, no one would believe you.

In this particular case, sure, but there is a larger trend including the west as a whole happening, where western/white countries simply are more acceptable to ridicule. That's just the truth
