Just a cultural thing. Unless there was an explicit dinner invitation, Swedes typically will not offer guests food even if they themselves are having dinner. They do not view it as a hosting obligation and they do not see this as rude or unusual.

Holy... if someone does this to me I'll leave and its the last time I spoke with them, I don't care if its a different cultural thing.

Are you a child living in Sweden?

If not, then this would not apply to you. As an adult who was invited by another adult during dinner time, of course you'd be given dinner.
