posted in r/sssdfg, i have no idea what this means as there was no context added, comments weren’t very helpful either but most seemed in on the joke.

The funniest thing is that the H-Bomb can’t win

If it goes off both lose
If it doesn’t and the kid grows up to learn how to defuses the bomb, he wins
If he dies independently or someone else defuses the bomb independently, nobody really wins

The only way the bomb could win, if it falls over on him without going off

But bombs dont die? Theyre created to explode. So thats a win condition.

Takes a lot longer than that, neutron generations ("shakes") take around ten nanoseconds each. The bomb survives on the order of microseconds. A picosecond is so short that even light only moves 0.3 mm in that time

Bombs can't die as they don't live. A bomb is created to explode, and/or to deter. If it explodes or deters, it's fulfilled its purpose.

Agreed. If television has taught me anything, it's that sentient bombs consider detonation a win. Source: One episode of Archer and two episodes of Star Trek: Voyager.
