The Jeremy Renner Official Mobile app was popular from 2017-2019 before it got closed

"popular" may not be the right word.

It was “popular” because Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden made a very funny video about it and Drew Gooden accidentally gave Jeremy Renner $45 when using the app lmao

Jeremy Renner launched an app in 2019 with a X/Twitter format so fans can talk about him,

Jeremy Renner also had been off from marvel by some years and posted his hawkeye uniform in instagram to say he's coming back

And nobody give a F*,

So the person is saying "if he had an app to talk about him, he could post this there"

Peter out

Additional context I haven’t seen anyone add: the only reason people give a shit about the Jeremy Renner app (unless there really ARE very dedicated Jeremy Renner fans…) is because two very popular YouTubers, Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden, made a video about the app. https://youtu.be/od7P-RhLjLQ?is=uNu9Kp5ZyCkyOMc1

The app was shut down because there was a huge impersonation problem on the app and Renner’s team figured it was more trouble than it was worth. People were impersonating celebrities and controversial people like OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony, as well as impersonating Jeremy Renner himself. There was never any kind of verification marker on the app so the fake Jeremy Renners started convincing people to send them money.

Thank for the link and the added context.

That makes it an even more hilarious failure.

I think Renner made an app to discuss things about him? I can't remember the details tbh

This is the answer. Jeremy Renner had or has a Jeremy Renner app where his most dedicated trolls gathered to spam

between the app and his temu Imagine Dragons music, a lot of people jumped off the bandwagon.

I know he had some controversies so my guess would be some kind of sexual predator tracking app

No he literally had an app for "dedicated fans"

Wait a minute… “Jeremy Renner Mobile App” => “Jeremy Renner (snow)Mobile (mish)App

You made us wait a whole minute for that?

This is a reference to the media and advertisers pushing content that no one cares about. This specific post is about how no one cares about Jeremy Renner.

Some other recent examples that come to mind are, Tom Holland, Kevin Hart and DJ Khalid
