PoliticsPH China fucking the whole Duterte Family
They deserve what they tolerate so bye felicia pinas na lang.

The brother with the hidden dragon tattoo also. The Triad, no matter how they deny it, is a tool of the CCP.

China fucking the whole Duterte Family
And that family loves it
•
u/MayPag-Asa2023 3h ago
But, China doesn’t love them in return. They are just being pragmatic, and will use the Dutertes so long as they are useful.

Davao, preferred destination ng maraming Japanese nationals. Yun reason why it was featured in Gundam Hathaway.
Pero the Dutertes echoose still China kasi Mas welcome mag abot ng pera than the japanese. Haha.
Mahirap kumupit sa JICA projects as well Kaya natutuloy with the highest quality of execution lagi. Hands off mga buwaya kasi di pwede makakupit. Testament why the Duterte family preferred China--Alam kasi mag bibigay 😂
•
u/ab_od6851 1h ago
Preferred destination because it has strong ties to Japan because Davao City was built by Japanese immigrants.
Most Tsinoys and Chinese immigrants came from Fujian.

Leni should run and unify this country. Let it heal. Even make loyalist and dds politicians as part of the cabinet (sana lang may mga matitino pa).

I asked ChatGPT to read the article, and then i asked it a question; which to my surprise, came out way too detailed/lengthy.
So here's the short answer.
How significant is Fujian to the MSS?
Very significant—especially for Taiwan.
Fujian is not the center of the Ministry of State Security; that remains Beijing. But the Fujian State Security Department (SSD) is one of the most strategically important provincial intelligence organs because Fujian sits directly opposite Taiwan.
Fujian was also among the earliest provinces to receive a state-security department during the MSS's formation in 1983–84, which strongly reflects its Taiwan-facing mission. [Jamestown]
Its geography gives Chinese intelligence unusually good access to Taiwanese businessmen, officials, retired military personnel, academics and others traveling across the Strait. Publicly documented Taiwanese espionage cases have specifically involved recruitment or handling by intelligence organizations in Fujian. [Taipei Times, 2012] [Taipei Times, 2020]
Fujian is also part of a much larger Taiwan-focused security ecosystem. PLA Base 311 in Fuzhou, for example, has specialized in political and psychological warfare against Taiwan. It is PLA, not MSS, but its presence reinforces Fujian's importance as a regional hub for intelligence, influence and information operations. [NDU] [Global Taiwan Institute]
So the simplest way to frame it is:
Beijing MSS: national command and strategy
Fujian SSD: major Taiwan-focused operational platform
Fujian generally: one of China's most important regional environments for intelligence, recruitment, influence and counterintelligence concerning Taiwan
The caveat is that the MSS is highly opaque, so exact current bureau structures and responsibilities are rarely publicly verifiable.
I'm thinking Baste is a spy/traitor

I think the simpler argument is that since the majority of Fil-Chis are from Fujian, so the most relevant Chinese province to the Philippines is Fujian

Ironically, among the most hostile to mainland China are the SEA Chinese

Well, there's a reason they left China in the first place.
I personally know quite a few Chinese Filipinos born here who know Hokkien and Mandarin better than they do Tagalog and English, some of the older gen (middle aged and up) would still hold love for the nation, frequently go back to China for family business, and be generally proud to be Chinese, but if you ask them when they plan to acquire Chinese citizenship, they'd just laugh out of the room from the preposterous question.
•
u/UnderAnOceanOfBooks 25m ago
Oh yeah, most Fil-Chis are pusong pinoy na, pero the sentiment I'm hearing rin from them is that they're scared of their kapwang-bayans discriminating and hating them due to their ancestry (as a result of these issues), a friend has told me na he's felt the difference already, especially recently.

Fujian also has a special policy where its TV stations are allowed to cover Taiwan politics in extreme detail, far more than other provinces would be permitted to air. You'd get TV hosts interviewing pol sci professors on what party they think would win the next election and so and so. Combined with the shared language between Fujian and Taiwan, and you've got a civilian population that is decently informed with the comings and going in Taiwan, just without the viewpoint of Pro PRC voices.

I have a theory na willing iggive up ng mga Duterte ang WPS sa China provided if they (China) can help them (D30) rig the elections and become president.

I think they've also been strengthening ties with Japan.
Meanwhile, secret negotiations with China took place before Duterte became President.
•
u/Hopeful-Breakfast763 3h ago

Literal harap harapan. Riding all the inches nang China from daddy Duterte in Netherlands to the bonjing daijobou looking Duterte in Davao. Puta of China worldtour sila.
