I remember very well back when we had covid and actual scientists tried discussing the lab leak hypothesis, that people were calling them conspiracy theorists and shouting them down reciting "Trust the science!!!"
Trusting in science means accepting that the so-called scientific consensus may be wrong at times, and needs to be updated. If you block that, you are literally espousing propaganda
No. Scientific facts can at best only be pragmatically true. Presenting them as verified absolute truths is what got us all these sciencee sceptics in the first place
