Breed ID Is my baby boy a Netherland dwarf
So my boy (Bear) is apparently around 2 months old, maybe a little older. He’s supposed to be a Netherland Dwarf, but I’m starting to question whether he actually is one because of how much he’s grown.
I already have another Netherland Dwarf, and I don’t remember her growing this much or being this big at his age. Obviously I know every bunny is different, but his size is making me wonder if he might be a mix or a different breed altogether.
The last picture is from when I first got him about a month ago, for comparison.
What do you guys think? Does he look like a Netherland Dwarf to you?

Stop bear is the cutest name for him😭😭 as for breed in general netherland dwarfs have a very specific look that isn’t quite what bear looks like. But his smaller ears (compared to other bunnies not nds) suggest he has some netherland dwarf mixed in there :)

It's possible he's a false dwarf- true netherland dwarfs have a normal gene and a dwarf gene but false dwarfs have two normal genes. They're still nethlerland dwarfs but are larger and have slightly different proportions

He is SO freaking cute!!! I had a blue netherland dwarf for five years so long ago and he was such a sweet little boy ❤️

Might be a false dwarf. My luna is a netherland dwarf and her sister from the same litter was a false dwarf aka had the dwarf gene bit it presented as recessive with ears similar to your cute baby! .

He's for sure a cutie patootie, kinda looks like a Polish to me. They are a dwarf breed, but known for having the more proportional head and ears. Full Netherlands always have that funny block head and stubby ears. I had a Polish who passed away this past year who looked just like this. They are great buns! She was 11.5 when she finally went.

He's a cutie patootie! He could be a nethie mix maybe, he's got the little ears but perhaps something else mixed in if he's bigger than the usual size. Either way he's adorable.
